First week of Spring

How good is this – got out on the water on Saturday and burnt a crazy 1100 kilos – man I love windsurfing.  Did find out that I need to get fitter though 🙂

Today I hit the gym and smashed out pump session with Januese

Upped the weights in order to increase my fitness and health.  Garmin came in at 562 cals ………………..NICE

    Wednesday morning – Hump day 600 cals

    Ok after my tough start to the season – i put in maximum effort this morning at RPM and smashed out 600 cals according to Garmin. To get my fitness up I have to put in maximum effort.

    It is windsurfing that is the big motivator for me to go to the gym and get fit.. It started with my lung thing – then I picked a sport that was going to be a good challenge in addition to being a great cardiovascular workout for my lungs. Have to work those babies keep them going – it doesn’t matter what you pick as long as you have something that is a good motivator. Oh and I forgot………..have to look hot for the girls lol Grannies more like

    Thursday Morgan’s Workout
    Woo Hoo Garmin says 666 cals max heart rate of 187bpm ok no worries still alive – Cool

    – Warm up on the XTrainer for 5 mins
    – Bosa Ball push ups 3 x 12
    – Bosa Ball Squats 3 x 15
    – Sit ups with 10 kilo medicine ball 3 x 15
    – plank 3 x 1 min just
    – Rowing machine for 10 mins
    – Finish off on the Treadmill 20 mins
    Good work out – I can feel it here the RPM must not be such a good endurance workout – so tomorrow I am going to do my old 6K friday that is 6 kilometres on the Treadmill – should burn somewhere around 700 cals and work on endurance for my sport.

    Feeling pretty good though

    Yeah……………..6K Friday

    Many months ago I used to do 6k Friday’s but hurt my ankle when camping at Elanda Point twisted it in an erosion hole. Blah Blah
    Although it is still a bit tender at times I decided it was time to have a go at 6k friday again……………WITH SUCCESS – CRIKEY – HAPPY WITH THAT
    I achieved this result in 45 mins and as a bonus smashed out 624 cals max heart rate of 165 bpm Nice

    You know there was a time that I couldn’t run at 8 for 20 seconds on the treadmill and that was only a couple of years ago – so if you think you can’t do start there walk at 5 – 6 and run for 20 sec at 8 if you can and if not work up to it – If I can do it anyone can 🙂
