- Smaashed it out in Mel’s RPM class – Mel added her twist and what a twist it was I made it at least 97% of the way. I stumbled a couple of times trying to keep up but to the most part was all over it. Thanks Mel – the Gym owners are lucky to have such a good trainer ——> Garmin says I knocked down 816 Calories – how good is that. This was just what the I need to increase my fitness getting ready for a two week windsurfing holiday at Lake Cootharaba, near Noosa. My sailing fitness is shot – haven’t been out for a long time.
It was a hard work out today but I am getting through it with my turmeric – a teaspoon a day in a glass of water keeps me going.
Yesterday Pump class with Charise was excellent session – I decided to up my weights which I must say was a challenge but again made it 98% through only had to stop a couple of times.
Just got to remember why we doing this – Lungs and breathing – windsurfing fitness – maintain a long and healthy lifestyle – eat some yummy things and a red or two along the track. I am keen to take my beautiful wife for a long drive around Australia in a few years time and need to make sure I am healthy enough to make this happen. After all I am closer to 60 than 50 so conscious effort required here. You too need to make sure you stay healthy for your family and for yourself – life is pretty good for me 🙂

Morgan’s workout Thursday
A nice little workout today – cant tell you how many calories as Garmin gets a bit confused with a few workouts – wait on – maybe its me not Garmin don’t really know what to set it on.
– warm up on the treadmill
– Treadmill 5 min warm up
– TRX Pull ups 3 x 12
– Back thing 3 x 15 with 3 x 15 squats
– Plank 3 x 1 minute
– Lat pull down 3 x 12
– Triceps pull down rope 3 x 12
– Row 3 x 12 with weight
– Rowing machine 5 x 200m sprints with 12 pushes by 3 in amongst it
How cool is that a nice little work out – should have done me good – well it felt like it was at the time

6K Friday with a difference
What difference I hear you say – weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeellll I decided to make it more of a interval style of training – just like windsurfing.
Way to go – man I don’t believe that only a few short years ago I couldn’t run at 8kph for 20 seconds
How is this Garmin recons I did 762 cals and 6.74 K’s not bad for an old fella.
Maybe it is the Turmeric drink I am having which is helping increase my activity intensity
