What!!!! Gym has closed its doors

My Gym that I have enjoyed for the last 4-5 years has suddenly closed its doors.   The gym I was going to was a nice private Gym with a good group of people the atmosphere was casual missing the hype of the flash commercial gyms.  I could come and go as I pleased and always plenty of people saying hello and good morning.  The Personal Trainers were great and seemed to give a shit opps naughty me but true.  The group training sessions were great and it just felt comfortable, warm and cosy.  How the hell to you replace that……

To find another one locally. Tough call – I have dropped into a couple of the hyped up gyms to discuss possible membership – have even started a 5 day free trial – first thing they want me to do is ‘this is what we are going to do for you – 18months sign up for only XXXX available for 5 days only give me your phone number so someone can pester the shit out of you to join’.  Been there before.  You see I have a busy life, busy sports calender (windsurfing/supping or even wake boarding almost every week end most of the year)

Going to try a week at another gym this week to see how it is – there are a few from my old gym there and one of the friendly pt’s has started work there
