Yep made it to the gym this morning

I must say it was touch and go at 4 am when I woke up – mmm go back to sleep or go to the gym – I was a good boy and off to the gym I went feeling a bit ordinary.

Must have been a day of it – normally there is nearly 20 people at Pump but this morning only 6 or 7 of us. Still struggling – asthma going a bit crazy at the moment, oh well suck it up buddy just means I have to work harder is all. I ran out of breath at pump this morning – that sux big time as it hasn’t happened before and I lost balance at one point, to the point were the instructor asked if I was alright.

I haven’t been windsurfing for around 4 weeks not as well – that is good cardio – I am going to have to do more at the gym to get my fitness up. Maybe start going on Thursday again – I was using Thursday as a sleep in day (get to sleep in to 5.30am luxury)

Garmin says I disposed of 598 Calories this morning and got my heart rate up to 139 bpm at Pump – well that was worth every minute of it – Nice

    An older version but a goodie that is for sure – ended up coughing and spluttering again this morning but think it is getting better. Started off pretty clear made it 75% through before being a bit of entertainment – I guess it is tough going trying to smash this stuff out with around 74% lung capacity – although feels less at the moment. Burnt some calories to – bonus Garmin says 648 Calories and max Heart rate of 149 bpm sounds good for you.

    Tough to get out of bed this morning again did it though. Have to get to the gym otherwise I am not getting much exercise work in an office – have trouble lining the stars up to get out windsurfing (tides, wind, weather, time only Saturday afternoon these days) which is a great cardio workout. I tend to burn upward of 1000cals when I go. So what is an old timer to do – get to the gym then and just do it a minimum of 3 days per week. Hope you are getting out and doing some exercise.

    My oldest boy is really expanding and has a pretty bad attitude to exercise – he is around 135 kilos and in his thirties – I worry about him work life is stressful for him and life is pretty ordinary at the moment. Tough times – I am constantly (annoying Dad) trying to get him to the gym with me – but no such luck so far he is not a morning person.

    No Gym today

    Found a feasible excuse not to go – have to take car in tor a check up

    Plus needed to catch up on my sleep debt have been working late this week, which doesn’t help early mornings – slept in til 5.15 woo hoo nice

    Tomorrow is 6k Friday – will have to see how I go the aim is to get to 6k in 45 minutes or less

    Had a quater of a teaspoon of raw honey in my turmeric this morning – this week I have had a bit of a sore neck (between the shoulders) must of slept funny – so upped my turmeric intake and had a second lot at night – it is easing now. Anyone know of good pillows – my pillow suck……… Time for a change but to what

    Oh…..by the way – last Friday I weighed in at 101.3 kilo’s getting to the gym consistantly 3 times each week feeling like I may have got rid of some keen to weigh in tomorrow.

    Well there you go – the big G let me down – my garmin would set to indoor run this morning. And after looking it hasn’t even counted any steps – I just did 6 K and no record on my system.

    Oh well – as my Mum used to say ‘worse things happen at sea’ – I guess I should remember to turn it off at least once a week – like your phone it should be turn off fully powered down at least once a month to reset. I suppose the Garmin is the same. It has put me in 5th place in weekly challenge – normally I am in the top 4. I have an outdoor work day today will pick up some steps.

    As I have said my target for 6k is to get back to under 45mins – not sure if it is the heat or what but something seems to be upsetting my Asthma’ery thing at the moment. I am struggling to even get 6k in under 50 mins. I just have to work harder

    A good start to the day – teaspoon of Turmeric special blend into a glass of water with quarter of a teaspoon of raw honey – NICE…….

    Stats for today are weigh in at 100.15kilos looking ok last week 100.3 happy to drop a little a week as long as it is dropping, that works for me…
