I am going to call it 6K Friday – that is treadmill 6 kilometres – 700+ beautiful calories burnt, now that’s what we are talking about.
I go to the gym 4 to 5 times a week and Friday is the day I get on the Treadmill and bash it out and have built my way up from 1.5 k a couple of years ago to 6K now Woo Hoo is all I can say.
My main aim at the moment is to go after those unwanted calories/kilograms bit by bit – so far I have lost 10+ kilos -NICE 🙂 This has been over the last couple of months since November 2015 for years I have been going to the gym and not loosing any weight (sound familiar) my wife was saying go to the Doctor and see what is going on. I know what is going on I wasn’t burning more than my intake. Plus – my workout routine was a bit light on (not much, but enough not to loose any) I wasn’t putting any weight on which was a good thing – stopped the inflation process.
What did I do – I just added a few extra things to my workout in some areas and upped the intensity of the same ol’ same ol’. That has worked at one point in November and December 2015 I was loosing a kilo a week and what a great incentive that was to keep the intensity high. January and February 2016 I was only loosing .2 of a gram but it was dropping all the same keep it coming. The week before nothing lost and last week (early March 16) I actually put on weight – that sux but we will put that down to muscle growth.
Nothing more to it then increasing intensity again and lets see what happens

Haven’ been to the gym this week at all – still sporting a sore ankle.
Been trying to talk myself into going and working on upper body – but as what often happens after a holiday – it is hard to get the motivation.

6k Friday its not today. Doc said I can start back at the gym next week but will have to take it easy and work my way back up…..
